Saucy Magazine was founded in 2011 by Kristen Taylor as a personal project. Each full-color issue explores our fallible relationships with food and each other. Through photography, stories, illustration, and poetry, Saucy is driven by themes rather than recipes.
Saucy has been exhibited in London and Los Angeles and Toyko, as well as joining top indie food publications at the Food Book Fair.
Saucy was reviewed on Magculture by print expert Andrew Losowsky ("Each issue has a different format, and it plays with your expectations in unusual ways"), mentioned by indie magazine tastemaker Steve Watson of Stack Magazines ("very lovely"), and featured in Paper Magazine's May 2013 print article "Ten Magazines Whose Creative Takes on Food Have Us Salivating."
